Pushing the boundaries: increasing customer value
Asia Pacific continues to be growth oriented and geared to satisfying the global requirements of customers increasingly focused on the e-commerce value chain. The mail and express sector remains central to supporting the region’s economic development.
Mail and express companies continue to be innovative in the development of new products and services. They are moving into related business areas that offer their customers wider capabilities in areas such as digital and logistics. They are working to encourage social inclusion, the provision of e-services in remote areas, and finding innovative ways to help smaller businesses come to market. And many are increasingly seeing themselves as regional rather than just national players.
They are challenging the boundaries of what they have traditionally done, finding ways to enhance the value they provide to their customers, whether senders or recipients.
These developments provide our theme for World Mail & Express Asia Pacific 2014: ‘Pushing the boundaries: increasing customer value’. Our speakers will be challenged to outline how they are re-inventing their organisations, entering new business areas and new geographies, and how these developments benefit their customers.
